The DKEF is dedicated to insuring transparency.  Here you will find information on our policies, as well as investment information regarding The Community Foundation of New Jersey.  We are currently collecting and posting information, so check back often.
DKEF Policies


• %100 of donations and proceeds from fund raising events are sent to the CFNJ and held in our fund account as described to the left
.  These monies are subject to the CFNJ %1 annual administration fee.

• Online credit card donations are also subject to the PayPal transaction fee of 2.2% + $.30 per transaction (Less than $100,000 in monthly volume)

• The DKEF will roll over, from year to year, any excess money raised for each activity.  In addition any activity that does not reach it's fundraising goal will also have it's funds carried over from year to year.
 Our Relationship with the CFNJ


The Denville Kids Enrichment Fund is a Donor Advised component fund of the
Community Foundation of New Jersey a non-profit 501(c)3 which allows groups or individuals to create charitable funds under their umbrella to provide tax-deductible status.

For an annual fee of 1% (for Funds up to 1 Million in total Fund value) the CFNJ handles all legal, bookkeeping, and tax filings.

The DKEF has selected the Stable Value Portfolio. "The Stable Value Portfolio is a conservative investment option comprised 100% of the Vanguard Prime Money Market Fund.  The Stable Value Portfolio experienced a year to date return for the three months ending March 31, 2009 of +0.32%.       The return for the calendar year ended December 31, 2008 was +2.55%; 2007 was +3.66% and 2006 was +4.62%."  View Prospectus Here
